About the LWA

 

The LWA is the London & Thames Valley Region of the UKWA, the United Kingdom Windsurfing Association and has been in existence for over 30 years.

 

Every year the LWA runs a Summer Series of 7 one-day events and at the end of the year the Icebreaker Team Series which is composed of three one-day events.  In the summer the LWA hosts a UKWA Inland two-day event.

The LWA celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2008.

The LWA  is run by a Committee consisting of Chairman - Kerry Hastings; Treasurer - Jon Davis; Event Secretary (& Co-Treasurer) - Janet Pain;  Publicity Officer - Rod Davis and Committee member - Andy Lacey.
