Fishers Green: The approach to the club is from the B194 from Nazeing or Waltham Abbey. Turn into Stubbings Hall Lane which is also the entrance to Hayes Hill Farm, the Lee Valley Regional Park public farm, and is well signposted. As you turn off the B194 the road splits into three, take the centre road and beware of the humps! The road then swings 90 degrees to the right and you should take the right fork as you pass the little car park on your right. Follow this lane for a further mile and a half. The access road is gated just before the clubhouse.
Warning: There is a signpost saying “Fishers Green” on the B194 as you travel north, however this is NOT the turning you want for the Sailing Club. Keep going up the B194 until you come to Stubbings Hall Lane which is on a sharp bend and go left here. The club is quite a long way from the main road!
Junction 26 of the M25 is the best approach to Waltham Abbey, follow the signs to the Lee Valley Country Park. OS Map Reference 538250,204250.
