Melting Pot & AGM
The season starts with the Melting Pot Open and Annual General Meeting. Usually two or three races allowing for kit shakedown then the AGM. The AGM summarises the year, the accounts and is an opportunity for our sailors to raise any issues or make suggestions on how to improve our racing.
Queen Mary SC
This is usually (but not always) the first event of the Summer Series. Queen Mary is the largest piece of water near London and offers excellent sailing. It's a great location to kick things off.
Fishers Green SC
A small and tactical location to the North of London. Make sure you know how to get there before you set off.
Burghfield SC
Another tactical location near Reading. Bigger than Fishers Green but with some challenging islands.
Datchet SC
A raised reservoir near Heathrow with great views of Windsor Castle. This is the venue for our two day UKWA inland event but don't worry you can still race on the Saturday and get an LWA result.
Oxford SC
Back to Oxford for our Mid-Summer event. Raised up for good winds. We often get visitors from the Midlands Region.
King George SC
This time to North London. Early Autumn winds could make this a great event.
Bewl Valley SC
The last event of the season takes us to Kent where the series winners will be crowned.
