Fishers Green is GO!

Hi Everyone,

Following a recent LWA Committee meeting and the easing of lock-down restrictions, it was felt timely to give you an outline of how we plan to proceed providing there are no changes to the Road Maps. Below is a list of all events as a reminder.

I am sure you will be delighted to hear that providing nothing changes, Fisher Green SC are happy to host our first event on the 17th April.

HOWEVER, for our first few events, Minimise Travel is still recommended. As much as we would like to see as many people as possible, please think carefully as it is your responsibility to decide whether or not to attend.

Registration – For the first few events we are setting up an online entry and payment system to minimise entry on the day and we would encourage everyone to do this. If you decide not to attend on the day your entry fee will be carried over to the next event. If necessary entry can be done on the day but card only payments will be taken. Please print out and bring your registration form with you if possible (attached below).

There will also be an ‘Opt-In’ form to be completed at your first event, this confirms that you are fully aware and accept the inherent risks involved in participating in any LWA event including the potential to contract or pass on coronavirus/COVID-19 and that you will comply with safety measures as directed by the LWA or the organising Club.

Obviously everyone needs to continue to be aware of all the health & safety issues:

Social distancing (no hugging!)

Face masks

Everyone should be prepared to come changed or change by their vehicles

The club house will not be open except for possible access to the changing rooms if they are open. Numbers will be limited, no gear to be left in the changing room and no showers.

There is a gardeners toilet/washroom outside.

Please bring your own food and drink, the galley will not be open for food, but there may be the possibility of Teas & Coffees but we will confirm nearer the time.

All will be welcome. There is a 7.8 class Old Skool Boards 6m class but remember 3rd party insurance is required.

Further information will be sent week beginning 12th April, but we thought you might like to know where we stand at the moment. Please keep your fingers crossed!

Regards
