Hi LWA Sailors!
The first event in our Summer Series takes place at Fishers Green SC near Enfield this coming Saturday. This is the smallest of our venues and is more like pond sailing than anything else, but nevertheless it usually serves up a very enjoyable day’s racing.
Whilst under the RYA Covid-19 roadmap, travel is permitted to organised events please remain aware of the Covid-19 guidelines. Please remember that social distancing and face masks, where necessary, are still required.
As usual Briefing is at 10:30 with Race One scheduled for 11:00. Two races in the morning and two in the afternoon.
Please unload and remove your vehicles back to the car park as soon as you can.
If you haven’t been to Fishers Green before please check out the map and instructions on our website or you will risk getting very lost indeed.

If you pre-enter and are unable to attend we will carry your fee over to the next event you attend. We will accept entries on the day but we would prefer you to pre-enter. Please find attached an entry form for you to print, complete & bring with you. If you are paying at the event payment by card is preferable. Adult entry fee: £20.00, Youth/Junior: £10.00
COVID-19 Acceptance of Risk – Opt-In Form
This form needs only to be completed at your first event, however by registering online you have accepted the covid risk. Please print, sign and bring it with you. Spare forms will be available but please make sure you have a pen.
Points to remember
There is no access to the Club house
There is an outside Gardener’s washroom/toilet available
No Catering will be available, please bring your own food and drinks.
There is a locked gate on the lane into Fishers Green, the combination for which is as follows: 2659.

It is essential for you to bring your buoyancy to every event as many clubs now make this obligatory.
PLEASE BE AWARE the B194 is being resurfaced so there may be traffic lights in operation, but also we have been advised that the road is quite badly potholed, especially near the turnoff to Fishers Green, so anyone towing a trailer needs to be particularly careful.
NOR and Sailing Instructions:
These have not yet been updated in line with the 2021-2024 Racing Rules of Sailing so this event will be conducted under the previous Rules.
